The Rector of University of Al-Maarif, Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik, and the Scientific Assistant of the Rector, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq, paid a visit to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, to enhance cooperation between the university and the ministry. During the visit, the Rector expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister for the great efforts he made in transforming the College into a university, stressing that this transformation represents a pivotal step in the university’s journey towards academic excellence and enhancing its role in developing higher education in Iraq.
Several important topics and ways to develop the educational process and enhance scientific research at the university were discussed, in addition to discussing future opportunities to enhance the university’s role in achieving the ministry’s vision in higher education. While the Minister, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi, praised the efforts of University of Al-Maarif in improving the quality of higher education, and expressed his readiness to provide the necessary support to the university in its future projects, stressing the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and the ministry to achieve common goals.
