The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, and Head of Nursing Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahasin Talib Muhammad, participated in the Second International Specialized Scientific Conference on Autism Spectrum Disorder, which was organized by Middle Technical University and Medical Technical Institute – Baghdad, in Salah Al-Din Hall / Palestine Meridian Hotel, And in presence of a specialized scientific academics.
The conference entitled “Children of Autism – Energies – Creativity – Investment”, included four points: the medical, the psychological, the social, and the educational.
The conference has presented modern medical treatment methods for children with autism, studying the initial signs of the disorder, and early diagnosis criteria to control the disease, as well as discussing scientific research related to the psychological and social aspect.
