under the auspices of the ministry of higher education and scientific research – scientific evaluation and supervision authority – student activities section and jointly organized by the university of al-qadisiyah and university of almaarif, the volleyball tournament for students of universities, private and governmental colleges was launched in al-qadisiyah university, in the presence of the representative of the minister of higher education and scientific research – professor dr. ammar khalil ibrahim, and the dean of university of almaarif – prof. dr. yaqoub nadhim ahmed, the president of al-qadisiyah university – prof. dr.kadhim jabir al-juboury, and the governor of al-qadisiyah.
the activities of this tournament started with the opening ceremony with the speech of the dean of university of almaarif and the president of al-qadisiyah university.
the competition started after the opening ceremony between iraqi universities, whose activities continued from 6 th to 16 th december 2021.
the opening match was between the auc team and the university of babylon. and the auc team won the match after an exciting and strong match.
