An awareness symposium was held at the College of Finance and Management Sciences – University of Al-Maarif entitled (Traffic Accidents, Causes And Solutions), in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Centre, and the Information and Communication Unit, given by Dean Ali Ibrahim Fahad – Manager of Accidents Division – Directorate of Traffic of Al-Anbar Governorate, and Lt. Ahmed Ali Dhiyab – Division of Relations and Information – Directorate of Traffic in Al-Anbar Governorate, to demonstrate the importance of traffic aid in reducing accidents that are taking the lead in the daily scene because of the failure to comply with traffic regulations.
The symposium included clarification of the rules of precedence and entitlement to traffic on the street and the traffic marks that drivers must follow to maintain their safety, avoid traffic accidents and traffic fines caused by irregularities while driving and not wearing seatbelts, as well as the wrong parking of vehicles on the main streets.
At the conclusion of the symposium, Dean of Traffic thanked the Rectorate of the University and the Dean of the College for cooperating with the Director of Traffic in Al-Anbar Governorate to provide the opportunity to sensitize the College’s students on traffic safety rules.
