On Sunday 27th October 2024, the College of Science – Department of Computer Science at University of Al-Maarif held a workshop entitled (Erasmus Program In Cooperation With European Universities), in cooperation with the Iraqi University, the Division of Quality Assurance and Institutional Accreditation, and the Continuing Learning Centre.
The workshop was designed to familiarize participants with the Erasmus programme, one of the cultural and student exchange programmes among all Iraqi higher education institutions and European Union organizations, providing opportunities for study, training and employment in European Union countries through free grants.
It focused on introducing attendees and states covered by the Erasmus programme and on presenting the Joint Master Study mechanism, which allows students to obtain a master’s degree from two institutions in two different countries.
This workshop was held with the vision of the university’s future in supporting the scientific and cultural aspects of its current and graduate students and opening cooperation prospects with international universities in the Council of the European Union.
