The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Scientific Research, Mr. Haider Abd Dhahad, participated as a speaker in the closing panel discussion of the Artificial Intelligence Summit and the Third International Conference (TIOTC2025), which was held by University of Al-Maarif from April 16-17, 2025, discussed the challenges and opportunities facing Iraqi universities in light of the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence, emphasized the importance of integrating scientific research with modern technology and equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to face the future. As well as highlighted the need to strengthen partnerships between universities, research institutions, and the private sector to promote innovation and develop education in Iraq. This visit is an important step toward raising the level of higher education and scientific research in the country and reflects the government’s commitment to stimulating progress in the fields of modern technology.
