The inaugural university festival of plastic arts was organized by the Divisions of Student Activities, and Women’s Affairs at the University, with participation from all colleges and departments. The participants showcased a variety of art forms, including thread knitting, painting, glass painting, and sculpture. The evaluation committee for the works was made up of chosen teachers from the Institute of Fine Arts. The College of Dental came in first, followed by the College of Pharmacy in second, with the College of Nursing taking the third spot.
The exhibition was opened by Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman, the Rector’s Administrative Assistant, Dr. Muthanna Abd Al-Wahab Al-Mawla, in the presence of several lecturers, deans of colleges, and heads of departments.Colleges and departments are awarded shields and certificates of participation, with the most outstanding works selected to represent the university at local and international university events and festivals.
