On Wednesday, 19th February 2025, College of Science at University of Al-Maarif organized a scientific seminar on cybersecurity and how to protect data, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and the Anbar Communications and Information Directorate, to raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and its vital areas, discussing the most prominent challenges facing cybersecurity, and the latest solutions and technologies used to protect data and systems from cyber-attacks. The seminar included open discussion sessions, valuable interventions from experts, and practical workshops to enable attendees to understand the mechanisms of cybersecurity in a practical way. This event aimed to raise the level of technical awareness and enhance cooperation with government institutions to support digital security in the country. It also aimed to keep pace with technological developments and enhance partnerships between academic institutions and government agencies to serve the community and develop national cadres in technical fields.
