On Sunday, 11th February 2025, Department of Arabic Language at University of Al-Maarif held a scientific seminar titled (Timekeeping Discipline and the Significance of Time), given by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tawfiq, Head of the Department, supervised by Asst. Lec. Omar Sattar Jabbar addresses the topic of timekeeping discipline in universities and its influence on the educational process, as well as the significance of time in the Arabic language and its effect on understanding texts and their use in literary expression. Several key points were discussed regarding the relationship between time discipline and achieving academic success, as well as the importance of understanding and valuing time in an individual’s life.
The seminar also included active discussions and exchanges of ideas, where participants shared opinions and thoughts on how to achieve a balance between academic responsibilities and the daily lives of employees and students.
