On Monday, 2nd December 2024, College of Administrative and Financial Sciences – Department of Finance and Banking Sciences at University of Al-Maarif organized an economic seminar entitled (Economics by Colour), given by Prof. Dr. Nozad Abd Al-Rahman Al-Haiti, Adviser to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Professor of Political Economy at the Diplomatic Institute – Qatar, in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Centre at the university, in the presence of the ministerial committee of the University of Anbar.
The Seminar highlighted changes in the stage of economics over the past two decades and shifts in economics that were not as prevalent as traditional economic subjects dealing with macroeconomic or micro-theory. The economy was interpreted in color as a new idea to bring a pattern to the role of the economy and link it to symbolism and science.
This seminar came as part of the campaign launched by the University on the occasion of Entrepreneurship Week.
