A delegation from University of Al-Maarif participated in a training workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Body, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department. The workshop, hosted by University of Baghdad, aimed to enhance the skills of quality assurance officials in Iraqi universities and introduce them to implementing Bologna Process standards in education. It included intensive training on new evaluation mechanisms adopted for the 2023-2024 academic year, focusing on improving academic performance and promoting quality practices in teaching and research.
The workshop covered various topics, including developing course materials according to academic quality standards, modern evaluation methods for colleges and staff performance, publishing research in global databases for academic assessment, and implementing a credit-based curriculum aligned with the Bologna system.
