Asst. Prof. Dr. Yassir Mohammed Hammoud, Rector’s Assistant for Administrative Affairs at University of Al-Maarif, took part in the central celebration of the International Day for Facing Violent Extremism, which was organized by the Subcommittee for Facing Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism in Anbar Province.
This event was held in a significant step towards promoting security and peace, under the patronage of Anbar Governor, Mr. Mohammed Noori, as part of both local and international efforts to counter violent extremism, which threatens stability and development.
The participation aligns with the university’s commitment to raising awareness about the dangers of violent extremism, fostering values of tolerance and moderation, and building a cohesive society based on peace.
