University of Al-Maarif has achieved second place among private universities and colleges in Iraq, and the 22nd among public and private universities in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, marking a significant addition to its academic record, according to the Spanish Webometrics ranking, out of a total of 128 institutions. The university has been committed to building its academic reputation on the global map and pursuing excellence and leadership in international rankings. This commitment led to securing second place in the Spanish Webometrics ranking. This achievement comes as part of a series of scientific successes the university has accomplished this year, grateful to the efforts of its teaching staff, researchers, and technical and administrative teams, along with the continuous support from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for all the activities and events organized by the university.
