Within the joint cooperation between Al-Maarif University College and health institutions affiliated to Anbar Health Department / and according to the directives of Deanship of Al-Maarif University College, Second year students of department of Nursery went to Oncology centre in Anbar (Anbar Cancer Center). In order to see the therapeutic and nursing services provided in the center with a selection of the professors in various scientific-medical specialties, the center management and the resident doctors showed a great welcome and reception to the nursing department staff, the visit was based on several axes:
1. A brief introduction about the importance of the center and the services it provides, delivered by (Dr. Nabil Madhar Al-Hadithi), director of Oncology Center
2. A field tour of the units and departments of the center, accompanied by the official of the scientific department (laboratories unit, chemotherapy preparation, and patient halls).
3. A solid scientific lecture on the latest statistics in the world on tumor patients delivered by (Dr. Ahmed Tin).
4. Statement of the importance of nurses and their basic roles in the oncology center.
