Supported by Dean of Al-Maarif University College Prof. Dr. (Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed) and Assistant Professor Dr. (Mahasin Talib Muhammad), the Nursing Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit in the College, holds its seminar on Saturday 15/1/2022 entitled (medical and biological importance of some heterogeneous ring compounds as anti-bacterial substances) and a statement of the role of these medically important compounds in “drug chemistry”, where some of the most famous and most important types of drugs and their psychological, health and physical impact were discussed in detail and taking into account the depth in the chemical aspect of these dangerous substances attended by a group of nursing professors and students, some types of drugs were clarified, including:
1. Captacon, its health and psychological impact, and how to avoid it
2. Opium and its effect
3. Cocaine and its dangers
4. Clarify and explain what is known as digital drugs
