Sponsored by Dr. Yaqoub Nadhim Ahmed, Dean of Al-Maarif University College, Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies has held a workshop entitled (ELISA technology) on Wednesday 26/1/2022 by (Dr. Zulfiqar Fawaz Matar, Mr. Muhannad Ali Abdulhadi, Mr. Bahaa Ibrahim Saeed). The workshop aimed to shed light on Elisa technique, which is one of the widely used diagnostic laboratory techniques in most pathological analysis laboratories, especially in diagnosing viral, bacterial and parasitic diseases, as well as cancerous diseases, measuring hormone levels, and other medical examinations, as it is characterized by its ability to analyze a large number of samples that take time Relatively few, and it is characterized by its high sensitivity (99%). The workshop has included a detailed explanation of the mechanism of work of this technique, which is based on the principle of Enzyme immunoassay EIA. Also, during the workshop, discussion was for all, and the questions of the participants were answered, and all aspects related to the methods of measurement were clarified. The workshop witnessed the presence of many participants, interested persons and students from various stages of studies.
