On Monday, the 4th of March 2024, Al-Maarif University College, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Malik Abd Al-Rahman, and the Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razzaq Abd Al-Rahman participated in the Union of Arab Universities Conference which was held at University of Baghdad, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naem Al-Aboodi, and all heads of public and private universities. The Secretary-General of the Arab University Union, Dr. Amro Izzat Salama, stressed that Iraq is one of the founding members of the Universities Union and the attendance of Arab university presidents to participate in the events of the general conference hosted by the capital Baghdad for the first time pushes for greater integration among Arab educational institutions. On this occasion, Al-Maarif University College held many important meetings at University of Baghdad with the Manager of Private University Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Faris Mahdi Alwan, and many Arab universities to open the prospects for cooperation that will provide a positive scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi and Arab universities
