On Sunday, 13th December 2023, the Department of Medical Laboratories Technology at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific symposium entitled (Drugs and Its Impact on Young People), given by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Abdul Jalil, Asst. Lec. A’laa Al Shakir, Asst. Lec. Worood Jamal, and Bahaa Ibrahim.
The seminar discussed several topics, including promoting the fight against drugs and their health and environmental risks, identifying their spread and their impact on the Iraqi people in general and on Anbar youth in particular, in addition to identifying the most important awareness and guidance children because of this phenomenon that is apparent and foreign to Iraqi society.
