Department of Nursing

Vision:

 The Nursing Department at Al-Maarifل University College  attempts at creating a Department that matches other departments and colleges of nursing at the local and international levels by highlighting the quality of medical and nursing education to be a reflection in its outputs of graduates who possess competence  distinction and the ability to provide comprehensive nursing care in the field of community service in all aspects of health care, whether in health centers Primary schools or in hospitals. It also seeks to provide  students with the knowledge to write distinguished scientific researches that find solutions to the problems of society according to the vision ofAl-Maarif University College.

Mission:

The aim is to provide  a scientifically and practically qualified nursing staff for the health institutions   capable of dealing with various disease cases and providing high-quality, influential health services to improve and enhance the citizen’s health.

 Objectives:

1- Preparing highly qualified university nursing staff with a high sense of responsibility to provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative nursing services for the individual and  family.

2- Addressing the shortage of qualified nursing staff, especially women, in the field of health services.

3- Developing the status of nursing through conducting nursing research.

4- Enhancing the role and position of the nursing staff in health institutions.

5- Seeking to provide advanced scientific laboratories.
