The seminar addressed several values of the families in Iraqi society and external influences, aimed to demonstrate the importance of family cohesion and divorces affecting society, and concluded with recommendations, including the need to educate society on matrimonial issues and what is the harm of divorce and to develop appropriate solutions to this serious phenomenon affecting the family and children in the future, and attention to legal and legal issues
On 17th April 2024, the Department of Law at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific seminar entitled (Growing Divorces in Society – Causes and Ways of Confrontation) given by Dr. Mohammed Fawaz and Dr. Raed Feteikhan, in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Unit, and the Women Empowerment Unit at the College.
