On Tuesday, 14th November 2023, the International Week of Entrepreneurship was launched at Al-Maarif University College under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboodi, from the 13th to the 19th of November 2023. A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed by Dr. Ali Taqi Hasan visited Al-Maarif University College and was welcomed by Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq Abd Al-Rahman and Deputy Dean for Administrative Affairs Dr. Muthanna Abd Al-Wahab Al Mawla. The events included several topics, the most important of which was an exhibition of different projects, seminars and scientific workshops. This initiative launched by the Prime Minister, is a step on the right track to prepare the University’s graduates to engage in the labour market, stressing that a conference for these projects and the involvement of the private sector will be held to market these projects in the labour market. This event was in cooperation with the scientific departments, the Unit of Continuing Learning, and the Unit of Information Technology at the College.
