Al-Maarif University College attended the scientific symposium represented by Dr. Raed Obaid Saleh Al-Sabhani, by an invitation from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
The scientific symposium was held by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority – Section of University Supervision in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research entitled (The Role of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance).
The symposium was held in cooperation with the National Security Adviser in the Conference hall of the College of Medicine – Al-Mustansiriya Medical Complex.
The aim of the scientific symposium was to introduce the goals and mission of the psychological counseling and educational guidance units, dealing with students’ affairs and working on counseling students in several aspects such as psychological, social, and academic. In addition, to address social problems faced by students smoothly and easily ways, In order to find the real causes of these problems and then treat them and find appropriate solutions for them.
