On Wednesday, 1st November, 2023, the Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razzaq Abd Al-Rahman attended the first conference of the Industrial Advisory Council in Baghdad – University of Gilgamesh, where the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboodi addressed his speech at the conference and stressed the intensification of Postgraduate programs related to industrial, economic, and development problems. The Minister urged linking curricula directly to the needs of industrial institutions and reviewing them regularly to meet all the changes in the global environment and achieve more coordination and cooperation between universities, companies, sectoral ministries, unions, and relevant organizations through advisory councils. The industrial sector in an effective, transparent, and sustainable manner, and the labor market cooperates with universities in order to transfer market requirements to curricula, study programs, and scientific research, and agree on areas of training and qualification. Al-Maarif University College works to link its university scientific curriculum with all industrial and development institutions to keep pace with the development of the education.
