On Thursday, 11th May 2023, an agreement on scientific and cultural cooperation was held between Al-Maarif University College and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Baghdad. This agreement came within the mechanisms of twinning between public universities and colleges.
Al-Maarif University College was represented by Dr. Mounir Abdullah Khadir, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The signing of the agreement was attended by Dr. Omar Al Qasimi, the Manager of the Legal Unit, and Dr. Yassir Mohammed, the Rapporteur of the Sports Department. They were welcomed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the Scientific and administrative assistants, and several of heads of scientific departments.
The delegation of Al-Maarif University College toured the college’s sports facilities, including closed stadiums and halls, as well as the college’s Olympic swimming pool.
at the end of the visit, the shield of Al-Maarif University College was handed over to Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf.
