On Sunday, 19th November 2023, the Department of Medical Laboratories Techniques at Al-Maarif University College held a scientific seminar entitled (Vitamin D deficiency and its impact on human health), given by Asst. Lec. Sura Hasan Hamad in cooperation with several fourth-year students of the Department.
The seminar addressed the importance of vitamin D and the causes of its reduction in the body, as well as the sources of this vitamin and the treatment of its deficiencies, the distribution of educational folders for the awareness campaign for vitamin D deficiency and its impact on human health.
