WIPO Matrix organization for university classification issued the classification of January 2023, Al-Maarif University College ranked first at the province level and seventh at the Iraqi level for private universities and colleges.
It is worth noting that the organization changed some classification indicators so that the PRESENCE index was stopped, the number of external links was normalized, the average value for them was chosen, and the number of citations from the best 310 authors (excluding the first 30) was also calculated. The number of research papers among the top 10% was also calculated. Cited in each of the 27 disciplines of the full database (five-year period data: 2017-2021).
