On Tuesday, 16th May 2023, Prof. Dr. Muslih Shawish Ahmed, a lecturer at the Department of English, Al-Maarif university College, participated in the viva of the Doctorate thesis presented by the student (Ahmed Hamid Abdulrazzaq), Department of English– College of Arts– University of Baghdad. The examiners discussed the entitled thesis (Analysis based on the theory of preference for extraneous English words in the Iraqi dialect). This participation came within the policy of Al-Maarif University College’s openness, communication, and cooperation with official academic institutions.
