The Department of Civil Engineering at Al-Maarif University College held a special activity to celebrate Iraqi Engineer’s Day.
The celebration included a speech by the Head of the Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Khalid Al-Omar, and a speech by the Secretary of the Engineers Union – Al-Anbar Branch Dr. Mohammed Shaaban.
Several personalities in the province attended the ceremony, the Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs, the Deputy Governor for Security Affairs, the Deputy Manager of Ar-Ramadi Municipality, and the Assistant Manager of Al-Anbar Water Unit.
The ceremony concluded with a presentation of designs for various engineering facilities designed by the students of the department, under the supervision of the lecturers of the department, in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Unit at the college.
